Hello and welcome to our web site, the home of ClaBec Maltese.

We have designed our site to provide a way for our friends to watch our program grow and to hopefully help you if you are looking
for a new family member make the right decision in choosing your new addition. We have several links to some very interesting
web sites that will help cover what we may not have covered throughout the site. You will also find information concerning some of
the health issues that may arise within this magnificent breed.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us

At ClaBec Maltese we are a two generation team that are working hard to improve our lines with each and every breeding. And to
produce healthy, happy puppies for show ring. On occasion, we will have pet puppies available.

My name is Becky, I will do most of the talking and helping you with any questions you may have, and my mom's name is Clara. I am
excited to say that mom is no longer my silent partner, and that she is very involved and enjoying our progress in the show world.
We also have a wonderful cheering committee. Starting here at home with my dad and sister, to the many true friends that have
encouraged us not to give up when times got tough. We want to thank each and every one of you.

We have been blessed to have two very special friends/mentors. Judy Crane entrusted us and gave us our start with awesome
dogs. And Sharon Girven of Blue Hill Maltese  who also entrusted us with her bloodlines. Sharon is a wonderful mentor that does
not mind sharing her knowledge and is very special to us in many ways. Along with being a very important part of our program. She
is also handling for us at this time. And I am sure she will be the one that takes our first home bred dog to her title. Without Judy and
Sharon we would not be where we are today. And where we are headed in the future. Thank you Sharon. There are no words that
can explain the gratitude that we feel for you. Judy lost a very short battle with cancer 02/2009. We miss her dearly. Rest in Peace
my dear friend.

We are proud to announce that we sent our first home bred dog out with Sharon Girven at the end of Feb 2010. Sharon has been
handling Izzy with such grace and poise that at the Maltese National Specialty held in Atlanta Ga 2010,  she took Best Junior in
Sweepstakes and was 2nd in a large class on Sunday for the regular show. We could not ask for her to be handled in a more
professional manner than what Sharon is doing. We highly recommend her to anyone with any small breed of dog.

I (Becky) have also started the adventure of handling. And am proud to say that on our very first day out we took a Group 4. It was a
Sanction B (practice) match.

We support DNA testing and profiling.

We breed primarily for ourselves with the hopes of producing show quality dogs. Occasionally we have pet quality puppies
available. They will come with the following: Exam checklist dated and signed by our vet ,  Shots & Wormings appropriate for age ,
Three year genetic contract, Limited AKC Registration , Strict Spay/Neuter Contract , Pedigree for sire and dam , and Lifetime
support for the life or (even longer) of the puppy. Puppies do not leave our nest until they are at least 12 weeks of age. We also
require that if you are unable to care for the dog/puppy that he/she is returned to ClaBec Maltese. Click here to see one of the many
reason's we require that they are returned to us. Puppies will be well on their way of being potty trained to using the UGODOG
before leaving our home. We HIGHLY recommend that all of our clients have this product on hand before bringing their new addition
home.

We DO NOT public stud our Males.

We DO NOT sell breeding stock. Please do not ask..

We are active members of Pensacola Dog Fanciers Association (PDFA). Founded 1936

We govern ourselves to the Code of Ethics set forth by the American Maltese Association.
