| Hello and welcome to our website, the home of ClaBec Maltese. My name is Becky Stephens, the owner of ClaBec Maltese. I have designed my website to provide a way for our friends to watch our program grow. It is also designed to help you if you are looking for a new family member, or if you are needing help with a health issue that may arise in our magnificent breed. I have several links to some very interesting websites that will help cover what I may not have covered throughout the site. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me either by email at beckys@clabecmaltese.com or give me a call at 1-850-754-0277. I love to talk Maltese. I have also been blessed to have three very special friends/mentors that have helped me get to where I am today. Judy Crane entrusted and gave me my start with awesome dogs, Sharon Girven of Blue Hill Maltese also entrusted me with her bloodlines and answers the many questions ranging from grooming and growing a show coat, to the whelping and rearing of healthy puppies. Along with being a very important part of our program. Bea Noguier of Bea Ane's Maltese took me under her wing years ago and is also a very important to me in so many ways. Sharon & Bea are both wonderful mentors that do not mind sharing their knowledge and are very special to me in many ways. Judy lost a very short battle with cancer in early 2009. I miss her dearly. Rest in Peace my dear friend. I am working very closely to stay on top of every Genetic issue that may arise though our our breed by staying atop of things through wonderful breeders that discuss real issues and don't mask them and though the American Maltese Association. Although I not a member. American Maltese Association. On occasion I will have pet puppies available for suitable homes. They do not leave my nest until they are at least 12 weeks of age. From the time that my puppies reach the age of being toddlers (around 5-6 weeks) they spend adequate time every day out of their x-pens. I do this to insure that the pups are well rounded and adjusted. This helps to socialize them and get them ready for the transition into the new homes with ease if they leave me. The puppies that are placed in new homes will come with the following: Exam checklist (dated and signed by our vet,) Florida Issued Health Certificate Shots & Wormings appropriate for age One year genetic contract, Limited AKC Registration, Strict Spay/Neuter Contract, Pedigree for sire and dam, Puppies will be well on their way of being potty trained to using piddle pads, & our new families will have a lifetime of support for the life or (even longer) of the puppy. I support DNA Profiling to insure parentage, along with Bile Acid Testing to insure healthy livers along with insuring that my program is on the right path of creating healthy puppies for my program and possible pet puppies that may become available. I also work very closely with my vet, Dr. Mike Elliot. I am a member of Pensacola Dog Fancier's Association and the Maltese Club of Greater Miami. I am also making strives on joining the American Maltese Association and other Maltese clubs throughout the US. I am doing this to insure that I am able to stay atop of everything their may surface that concerns our breed with ease and to contribute in every way possible to the best interest of our breed. I also require that if you are unable to care for the dog/puppy that he/she is returned to ClaBec Maltese. Thank You for visiting my website. If there is anything that I can do to help you please feel free to either call me at 1-850-754-0277 or email at beckys@clabecmaltese.com. Becky Stephens Page updated 04/11 |
